Balanced Family Academy School-Age offerings vary by location. Factors that may contribute to these offerings include: nearby school district offerings, building size, and length of time each Academy has been open. If you are interested in these programs, please request information from your preferred location upon enrolling!
KINDERGARTEN
Our full-day Kindergarten curriculum focuses on skills to help students become lifelong learners, critical thinkers, flexible and creative problem solvers, and open-minded communicators. Additionally, our state-certified teachers place a large emphasis on phonics instruction, writing exploration, and STEM based activities. Children enrolled in this program are able to attend from 6:30am-6:00pm; however, the mandatory, structured school day hours extend from 9:00am-3:00pm.
AFTERSCHOOL
PROGRAMS
After-school programs are an extension of the traditional elementary school day, with a large emphases on interactive and social experiences. Each day the students will have the opportunity to participate in a themed group activity, play outdoors, eat afternoon snack with friends, and finish up any school work assignments assigned by their primary teacher. On days the school districts are closed, but our academies are open, there may be the opportunity to attend a local adventure with our school-age teachers. With safety as a top priority, and child enrolled in our after-school programs participate in annual bus safety lessons with our staff.
SUMMER CAMP
At the heart of our school-age offerings are our annual summer camp programs. After all, summertime is perhaps the best time to create the most treasured childhood memories! From special visitors at the school, to water days, to field trips visiting local parks, the adventures are endless.
