Our Gahanna childcare center prioritizes convenience- a perk busy parents love. We provide three daily meals, diapers, wipes, and in-house laundry service. Balanced Family Academy of Gahanna also provides regular weekly extra curricular activities for it’s students, including Jump Bunch, music class, and Balanced by Nature with Mr. Jared-so your child’s Gahanna Preschool experience is packed with fun and learning! The best part is, these perks are all included in your monthly daycare tuition.
Our families have the opportunity to order a variety of healthy, farm-to-table take home meals from Visionary Meals, conveniently delivered right to their child’s daycare location on a weekly basis. We bring the Gahanna community together with monthly family Yoga events by The Balanced Child Method.

Play-Based Learning & Beyond

The curriculum at Balanced Family Academy of Gahanna is based on the Ohio Early Learning standards and is designed to prepare children to thrive socially, emotionally, and academically in kindergarten and beyond.Our play-based Full Circle Curriculum includes lesson plans tailored to nurture infant development, and inspire creative thinking and problem solving in toddler and preschool classrooms. Each month our daycare curriculum themes include art, sensory play, messy science experiments, physical activity, and opportunities to learn math and language through creative and developmentally appropriate methods. We utilize children's books to teach our students about the world, represent diverse perspectives, inspire creative thinking, and so much more.

The Carroll Family

We are Ehryah and Rachel Carroll, owners of Balanced Family Academy Gahanna. We have known the Balanced Family Academy founders for almost seven years and have had the absolute pleasure of working for their company in many different capacities. ⁠After the birth of our daughter, Lennon, we gained a new perspective the importance of high quality child care, and Balanced Family Academy has set that standard. We are committed to obtaining the level of excellence set forth by the BFA brand. We cannot wait to share our passion and the BFA mission with the families of Gahanna!

  • "We transferred our toddler to BFA around 2 months ago, and it was the best decision we could make for him. We were coming in a little untrusting due to our previous experience at another daycare, but everyone at BFA has made our transition so wonderful. Our son would never walk into his classroom each morning without putting up a fight when we would try to leave, but here he walks right in and starts playing with is classmates. The ratio is amazing! His teachers have been extremely kind, helpful and you can tell they actually enjoy being there. I can go on and on about the great menu choices and the amount of fun activities the daycare puts on. From yoga classes to music time, they put thought into each day for the kids. One of my favorite parts is when they hold fun weekend events for families to attend. My son loves them and it's something we can all enjoy as a family, while also meeting some of the other families who go to BFA. I have been very satisfied with the facility, structure of the day, and overall support provided by administration since the transition. The owners have been very present and interactive with us from day one of the transition. There is intention behind classroom activities, external partners have been brought in for music and movement activities, and there is still lots of opportunity for free play throughout the day.
