  • BFA Gahanna has been wonderful. When we first enrolled our baby at 5 months old, she refused any and all bottles. I was an absolute wreck about it, and BFA assured me they would get her taking bottles. They did!! They worked as a team and tried all the bottles we’d purchased, used syringe feeding to make sure she was getting those calories, and encouraged momma and baby on the hard days. They were so phenomenal through the process, and now baby takes bottles like a champ! We love the welcoming nature of everyone and how well cared for and loved our girl is. The easy and detailed communication is awesome throughout the day. I especially enjoy all of the pictures. Definitely recommend!

  • “We LOVE BFA Morse Rd! The new owners are incredible and take a genuine interest in our family and our sons development. The newly renovated building is beautiful and has everything our toddler needs. The teachers are so kind and patient. We get constant updates throughout the day with pictures of all the fun activities they are doing together. The meals are healthy and delicious (I love when they have extras for the parents) and the playground outside is next level. It's always hard for us to leave our child in the morning, but knowing he is in such great hands makes it a little easier."

  • "I love BFA Gahanna. Rachel and Ehryah were great and helped us out so much with the enrollment and gave us a personal tour of BFA. They redid the entire buildling and have great rooms and playspaces for the kids. It feels like a family atmosphere and was the perfect place for my toddler. The all-inclusive care made a big difference for me and made it so much easier to get out the door in the morning without feeling stressed out or rushed. BFA listened to what were our priorites as parents and I really feel like they are partners with us in caring for my son. The teachers and directors know our family by name. I never had to worry about packing snacks, meals or diapers- it was already there and ready and the meals were fresh, balanced, and healthy. The teachers are kind and friendly- they keep great communication through the careday app and always let me know what's going on in my kid's class. The daily enrichment activities and play are great, and I can tell my little tiger is learning a lot at BFA and making great memories."

Meet the Gahanna Owners

The Carroll Family

Ehryah and Rachel Carroll are the proud owners of Balanced Family Academy of Gahanna, but their journey began long before ownership. For nearly seven years, they have had the privilege of working alongside the founders of BFA, serving in many roles and growing deeply rooted in the heart of the brand.

Everything changed with the birth of their daughter, Lennon. Becoming parents gave them a new perspective on what truly matters—safe, nurturing, high-quality child care that feels like an extension of home. Through that lens, Balanced Family Academy stood out as the gold standard, not only in education, but in love, intention, and community.

Now, as owners, Ehryah and Rachel are honored to carry forward the support, values, and mission that define our brand. Their commitment is simple yet powerful: to uphold our trusted standards which create a warm, supportive environment where children thrive and families feel connected.

They bring their passion, experience, and the BFA mission to the families of Gahanna, and walk alongside each family as their children grow, learn, and flourish.
