Conveniently located between Bethel and Reed Road, just steps from Northcrest Park, our Upper Arlington campus is the site of our first-ever school. Since its founding in 2014, our campus has grown to accommodate four daycare and early learning academies. Our UA campus provides exceptional care and education for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergartners, as well as school-age students.

Enjoy peace of mind knowing your child is well-nourished and cared for with three daily meals, diapers, wipes, and in-house laundry service. We provide three meals a day: a morning snack at 8:30 am, lunch at 11:30 am, and an afternoon snack at 3:30 pm. Our Upper Arlington campus also provides regular weekly extra curricular activities for it’s students, including Jump Bunch, music class, and Balanced by Nature with Mr. Jared. All of these convenient perks are built right into your tuition.
Our families have the opportunity to order a variety of nutritious take home meals from Alchemy Meal Prep, conveniently delivered right to their child’s school on a weekly basis. Our Upper Arlington schools also host regular parent’s night out events, as well as community gatherings throughout the year for families to meet and build connections.

We take an intentional approach to Kindergarten Readiness that values authentic learning opportunities for our students. Preparing our children for kindergarten is one of the leading goals at BFA, and our curriculum reflects this. We align our teaching to the Ohio Early Learning standards, following the prioritized ELA and Math standards utilized by Upper Arlington School District. Parents gain regular insight to their child’s development, though progress summaries highlighting key skills each month. In addition, we also complete quarterly assessments to ensure each child is receiving the individualized support they need to thrive.

“I cannot say enough positive things about Balanced Family Academy. My older son started here 6 years ago ( who is now in 3rd grade) and my younger son started 3 years ago and is in BFA’s kindergarten program. Many of the same teachers are still here from 6 years ago which says a lot about the environment and how the staff is cared for. The teachers genuinely care about each child and make learning fun. Ms. Lauren is absolutely amazing and is the most genuine and caring teacher. I know my son will have an excellent start in elementary school. “We began attending BFA when our daughter was 3 months old, she is now 2.5 and our almost 1 year old son attends as well. The care we receive is top tier and I can't imagine sending our kids anywhere else! While the daycare industry has experienced a lot of tumult since COVID, our location has had minimal turnover and the staff genuinely seems happy to work there. They are so attentive to our kids needs and my daughter will often surprise me with the things she has learned that I know comes from thoughtful curriculum and intentional age-appropriate learning methods. They also get to experience special activities like nature, music and phys ed every week. While the tuition is definitely higher than some centers you might find in the area, I believe that you get what you pay for in a daycare and the extra money is worth it for the level of care we receive.”
