In our full-day Kindergarten, we believe in a literature-based approach which allows children to embrace learning with excitement and amazement. Our curriculum design focuses on skills to help students become lifelong learners, critical thinkers, flexible and creative problem solvers, and open-minded communicators. Our academic school year will commence with our Open House on Sunday, July 29th and will end May 24, 2018.   We will continue learning through the months of June, July, Spring Break, and Teacher in-service days, but our time together will be more relaxed and full of adventure with special guests, field trips, and extra-curricular activities.  Children enrolled in this program are welcome to attend from 6:30am-6:00pm; however, the mandatory, structured school day hours extend from 9:00am-3:00pm.

Literature-based curriculum

We place a large emphasis on phonics instruction, writing exploration, and story time. In addition to daily literature exercises, we also complete a CTOPP evaluation at the beginning on the school year, as well as Dibbles assessments throughout the school year.

Creating confident learners

Our curriculum focuses on skills to help students become critical thinkers, creative problem solvers, and open-minded communicators.  Our state-certified teacher guides children by using Ohio's Common Core Standards in math, science, social studies, and language arts.
